Playgroup
We ensure our Playgroup classes are safe, nurturing and enjoyable.  Children learn through play and inquiry.  Music and Movement, Drama and Art are some of the methods we use to teach the children.  We encourage the children to express themselves through these mediums.  We focus on the student’s social and emotional well being and how to play with with others and be responsible for their own belongings.

Nursery 1

Our Nursery 1 programme is designed to develop cognitive, social and emotional skills as well as overall well being.  There are Music and Movement as well as Story reading and Narrative programmes that help children express themselves while proving endless hours of discovery.  With our qualified teachers and teacher assistants, you can be assured, learning becomes a fun experience for the young students.

Nursery 2
Our Nursery classes adopt an inquiry-based programme which provides opportunities for students to be independent, creative and confident problem solvers. Various types of learning experiences occur throughout the day, with students working individually, and in small and large groups, all experiences focus on interaction and the art of exploration, assisting children to interpret the world around them. Our Music and Movement as well as Story-reading and Narrative programmes help students express themselves while providing endless hours of discovery.

Learning is both teacher-directed and child-initiated. Student’s language and communication skills are encouraged through various levels of interaction, and motor skills are developed through active play. The Nursery curriculum sees students engaged in learning activities in the areas of English literacy, Chinese language, Mathematics, Science and Technology and The Arts.

K1
Kindergarten is a natural setting for young children to freely be inquisitive. The Kindergarten 1 programme is designed to ensure that children develop cognitive, social and emotional skills, with social and emotional well-being crucial to overall success. Various types of learning projects occur throughout the day, with students working individually, and in small and large groups.

Rich and varied learning provocations are set up to guide student discovery and allow teachers to observe, assess, plan and determine next steps for learning. Student’s language and communication skills are encouraged through various levels of interaction, and motor skills are developed through active play. Routines are a key component of the school day, providing students with coping skills and a growing sense of autonomy.

K2
Our Kindergarten 2 programme fosters Primary 1 readiness/prep for children who will be entering a rigorous programme the following year. Special attention will be paid to developing the specific skills needed for Primary 1 through the transdisciplinary approach, which invites children to learn through engaging hands-on experiences.

Reading and writing skills will be a large focus. Through daily small group and one-on-one reading instruction using a variety of rich literature and real-world news articles, students are guided to develop reading skills that will benefit their learning journey.
Numeracy and mathematical concepts will be taught every day where students are about to solidify their numeracy skills to provide a successful foundation.
